Official Commencement of Physical Clearance for 2025/2026 Academic Session Fresh Students at Rivers State University

 

 This is to formally announce, following a press release (Ref: RSU/AD/27/VOL.7/92) issued by the Registrar, Mrs. Ibimonia B. S. Harry, dated November 3rd, 2025, that the Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, is set to commence the Physical Clearance Exercise for all candidates granted provisional admission for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The exercise is specifically directed at all newly admitted candidates into Year One (1) and Direct Entry programs who have formally accepted the offer of admission.

Key Clearance Details

The initial phase of the clearance is scheduled to hold for three days:

Dates: Wednesday, November 5th to Friday, November 7th, 2025.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.

Venue: Information, Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) of the University.

Following the initial three-day period, the clearance process will be continued at the respective Faculties of study.

Mandatory Documentation for Fresh Students

Candidates are strictly required to present the original copies of the following credentials during the exercise for verification:

1.  Admission Letter from JAMB.

2.  Original JAMB Result.

3.  Accepted Admission Status printout from JAMB (CAPS).

4.  Original O'Level Certificates.

5.  Birth Certificate.

6.  LGA Identification Letter.

7.  Acceptance Fee Receipt.

8.  Other relevant printouts from the Student’s RSU Portal.

Compliance: Adherence to the specified dates and the presentation of all required original documents is mandatory for the successful completion of the clearance process and subsequent registration for the 2025/2026 academic session.
