RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITY APPOINTS DR. IDANYINGI I. DAMINABO AS ACTING REGISTRAR

DR. IDANYINGI I. DAMINABO NEW ACTING REGISTRAR RSU

The Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has officially announced the appointment of Dr. Idanyingi I. Daminabo as the new Acting Registrar. This appointment is effective immediately, commencing on December 15, 2025.

Dr. Daminabo assumes the role following the completion of the tenure of the previous Registrar, Dr. I. B. S. Harry.

Profile of the New Acting Registrar

Prior to this elevated role, Dr. Daminabo was the Director, Establishment Division and held the position of the most senior Director within the University’s Administrative Cadre.

She brings extensive experience to the office, having joined the services of the University in 1994 as an Administrative Officer I, following a transfer of service from the Rivers State Polytechnic, Bori, where her administrative career began in 1988. She achieved the rank of Director in 2017.

Academically, Dr. Daminabo possesses a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Sociology, complemented by a Doctorate Degree in Human Resource Management.
