In a world where success stories often seem like distant dreams, Christopher Asor's journey stands as a testament to the power of resilience, hard work, and determination. This 23-year-old Computer Science graduate from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has defied odds, losing his father during his undergraduate studies, to emerge with a first-class degree.

Asor's story is not just about academic excellence; it's about the values instilled in him by his parents, particularly his father, a lecturer who demanded nothing but excellence. Growing up, Asor learned the importance of time management, multitasking, and resourcefulness – skills that would later become crucial to his success.

When Asor began his journey at FUTO, he was driven by a passion for technology and a desire to create value. Despite facing challenges, including the loss of his father, he remained focused, leveraging his time effectively and seeking guidance from mentors. His approach was simple yet effective: three hours of deep reading daily from 3 am to 6 am, prioritization, and a refusal to let distractions derail him.

Asor's achievements are a testament to his hard work. As class representative, ISEC secretary, and recipient of the best course representative award, he demonstrated leadership and a commitment to excellence. His 4.7 CGPA is more than just a number – it's a reflection of his dedication to his craft.

So, what can we learn from Asor's journey? Firstly, success is not accidental; it's a deliberate choice. Asor chose to prioritize his academics, making sacrifices along the way. Secondly, mentorship matters. Asor's relationship with his father and mentors like Dr. Francisca Nwokoma played a significant role in his success. Lastly, resilience is key. Asor's ability to bounce back from setbacks, including his father's passing, is a powerful reminder that obstacles are opportunities for growth.
