RSU Gets Ready to Roll: New Academic Session Kicks Off November 3rd

Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, is gearing up for an exciting new academic session! According to a press release from the Office of the Registrar, the 2025/2026 academic session is set to commence on Monday, November 3rd, 2025.

In preparation for the big day, university hostels will open their doors to duly registered students on Sunday, November 2nd, 2025. Students are urged to promptly pay their school fees and accommodation fees to secure a bed space.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, has emphasized the importance of discipline in the hostels, inaugurating Hall Wardens to oversee the management of bed spaces. He has also warned students against the sale or transfer of bed spaces, threatening disciplinary action for those found guilty.
