Jandor Meets Tinubu, Atiku, Others Amidst Ongoing Consultations

In a significant development, Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has held meetings with President Bola Tinubu, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and other prominent national leaders. This move is part of Jandor's ongoing consultations following his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

According to his spokesperson, Gbenga Ogunleye, Jandor met with President Tinubu on Monday. He had earlier met with Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former President Ibrahim Babangida, former Head of State, Gen. Abdusalami Abubakar, and the presidential candidate of the SDP in the 2023 general elections, Prince Adewole Adebayo.

Jandor's resignation from the PDP was reportedly due to indiscipline and anti-party activities. He accused the PDP national leadership of disappointing him on the eve of the state's governorship election, stating that he would have won but for a false claim of alliance.

The National Secretary of the PDP and other leaders of the party have visited Jandor to appeal for the reconsideration of his resignation. However, Jandor has not yet declared his next move.

In the coming days, Jandor is expected to meet with his political associates and critical stakeholders in Lagos. He will also address the media on Monday, March 17, 2025.
