RSU Welcomes Fresh Faces: 11,083 Students Matriculate at 43rd Ceremony

The Rivers State University (RSU) in Port Harcourt hosted its 43rd matriculation ceremony on Friday, March 28, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for 11,083 fresh students ¹.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi welcomed the new students, emphasizing the institution's commitment to providing a world-class education that prepares students for success in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.

Prof. Zeb-Obipi assured the students that the university would provide all necessary support to help them excel, while urging them to take their studies seriously to graduate with flying colors. He also stressed that the institution would not tolerate any acts that could tarnish its image.

The vice chancellor outlined his vision for the university, which includes transforming it into a world-class, innovative, and inclusive institution that fosters a culture of excellence, creativity, and social responsibility ¹.
