TRAGIC RITUAL: Young Man Buried Alive for 'Fortification' Dies in Enugu
A devastating incident has shaken Ugbaike village in Igbo-Eze North LGA, Enugu State, after Chikwado Eze, a young man, was allegedly buried alive for ritual "fortification" and died in the process.
According to online sources [1], Chikwado had returned to his village to inform his father that his visa had expired. His father suggested consulting a native doctor for ritual fortification to ensure Chikwado's success abroad.
The native doctor, Onuwa, instructed that Chikwado be buried alive for 1 hour 30 minutes, promising that he would emerge stronger. Tragically, when Chikwado was exhumed, he was found dead.
Enraged, the police arrested Chikwado's father, Uwakwe, and the native doctor, Onuwa, in connection with the incident.
