_Man Arrested Near Trump Rally with Shotgun and Loaded Handgun_

A 49-year-old Las Vegas man, Vem Miller, was arrested near a Donald Trump rally in Coachella, California, after sheriff's deputies found a shotgun and loaded handgun in his vehicle.

Miller was released on bail and faces a court hearing on January 2. The Secret Service stated that Trump and rally attendees were not in danger.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco praised his deputies, saying they may have prevented a third assassination attempt.
