A Federal High Court in Lagos has scheduled a ruling for November 1 on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission's (EFCC) application for the final forfeiture of $2.045 million, seven properties, and shares linked to former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor Godwin Emefiele.
The EFCC's counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo, argued for forfeiture, stating no objections were raised by interested parties. Emefiele's attorney, Olalekan Ojo, opposed the application.
