*Obasanjo Urges Leaders to Harness Nigeria's Blessings for Growth*
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has emphasized that Nigeria's struggles are not due to a lack of resources, but poor management. Speaking at the 40th anniversary celebration of the Methodist Archdiocese of Abuja on Sunday, October 13, Obasanjo noted that God has equipped Nigeria with everything necessary for growth, citing the country's rivers and wealth of natural resources ¹.
"We have misused the gifts God has given us, but if we humble ourselves and seek His guidance, He will heal our land," Obasanjo said, stressing the importance of recognizing and utilizing God's provisions. He also highlighted that many nations lack the resources Nigeria takes for granted.
Obasanjo's comments come as Nigeria faces various challenges, including economic hardship and security concerns. His message emphasizes the need for effective leadership and responsible management of the country's resources.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was represented at the event by Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, alongside other political and spiritual leaders, promoting unity and prosperity.
