Rivers State Government Tackles Traffic Congestion: BUA Group and Olam Grains Summoned

In a bid to address the perennial traffic gridlock along Azikiwe Road in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Government has invited the management of BUA Group and Olam Grains (also known as Port Harcourt Crown Floor Mill) to a crucial meeting. Evans Bipi, the meeting will focus on easing traffic congestion along the Azikiwe Road axis of the City Centre. This development comes on the heels of previous concerns raised about the damage caused by BUA Group's trucks to roads in Rivers State ¹. The company has been involved in various infrastructure projects, including the expansion and dualization of the 132km Kano-Kazaure-Kongolam highway ².
